I have lived in different countries around the world and have had the opportunity to create an important network of relationships with professionals in the food and dairy sectors in particular; this how the idea of founding Alpha Solutions has come about.

Taking the opportunity to rely on a group of people with a long-standing experience in different fields of the food sector who were looking for a unique platform from which to operate, I decided to found Alpha Solutions.

We operate in three specific areas of the food industry. In the dairy sector, we support companies to find solutions to specific issues, develop new products, build new production facilities, and start up new production processes and plants. We offer our knowledge to the biotech industry for the development of new technologies and new substrates, with the aim of improving microbial yields, simplifying processes, and commercial development in new markets of interest. Finally, we support sauce producers in the simplification of recipes and, thus, of information reported on labels, in the start-up of new production plants and in the creation of new production lines and development of new products.

I deal with business administration and accounting, and I support my colleagues in the elaboration of agreements and contracts with clients. I also take part in the selection process of working groups that will support clients with specific requests.

Customer trust matters to us. Our clients are from all over the world: Italy, Japan, Russia, Croatia, Serbia, Denmark, Lithuania, Estonia, the Persian Gulf countries and Latin America, which are the areas in which we are currently operating.

The dairy world has been accompanying my work experience for more than 35 years.

I met several production companies starting as application technical manager, and then dedicating myself to research and development of lactic acid bacteria, enzymes and coagulants.

Over the years, I have held high-level management positions for multinationals around the dairy and non-dairy world, including Chr. Hansen, Cargill and Sensient Flavors in different parts of the world.

Today I am part of the Alpha Solutions team and I support our customers in defining strategic plans, conquering new markets and business management.
Thanks to the know-how acquired with constant experience and training, I offer targeted training on technological and quality aspects for the development of ingredients, products and processes.

My goal at Alpha Solutions is to support customer companies in the growth and development of their reality according to clear, effective strategies and oriented to achieve an appreciable and measurable result.

I worked mainly in the business area of dairy and food equipment suppliers at various multinational companies such as APV, Tetra-Pack, SPX Flow, Alectia A / S, with a global vision of the sector.

I have also worked as an international management consultant on multiple green and brown field projects: from masterplan to conceptual design, from detailed engineering to tender. I’m used to working with CapEx and OpEx and defining technical fields.

Today I am part of the Alpha Solutions team and bring my engineering experience and a strong background in the dairy sector.

I support our customers in the definition of new product lines for dairy production, ingredients producers, mayonnaise, soups, sauces, condiments, ketchup.

In particular, I deal with general planning, conceptual design, detailed engineering, optimization of recipes, processes and equipment.

Thanks to the know-how acquired after 30 years in the field, I offer targeted project management training on equipment and process technologies for the development of dairy products, sauces, ingredients, products and processes.

My goal in Alpha Solutions is to support client companies in the growth and development of their realities according to clear, effective strategies aimed at achieving an appreciable and measurable result.

My experience in the dairy industry started 40 years ago. Since then, I have had the opportunity to cultivate and develop transversal, technical and managerial skills 360 degrees.

During my professional career, I have worked on process and control technologies and techniques in the dairy and food sector, also putting operational and strategic management control techniques into practice. Food safety, occupational safety, and environmental safety in processing plants are an integral part of my skills and knowledge. Requirements and certification techniques for production sites and processes are other key points of my skills. All bricks useful for the control and assurance of food quality, and for the organization of production and continuous improvement.

By performing several managerial functions, I have strengthened my skills in budgeting, analysis, and management activities of industrial, commercial and financial performance; I have managed industrial and financial restructuring and turnaround processes, up more complex investment projects.

The companies for which I have been director at national and European level are Yomo, Lat-Bri, Galbani SpA, Lactalis Italia SpA, ILC La Mediterranea, Castelli SpA, Alival SpA.

Today, thanks to this path, I am a consultant for development, turnaround, commercial, industrial, and financial due diligence projects in the food sector and a member of the Alpha Solutions team.

I have gained more than 30 years of professional experience in Production and Research & Development, working mainly in both multinational and family-run food companies in the meat product processing sector. Subsequently, I started working as a self-employed Food Technologist.

I have worked for important companies, including Nestlé (a company that used to own the Vismara, King’s and Locatelli brands in Italy), Salumificio Levoni, Rapelli in Switzerland.

Today, thanks to my consolidated background as a specialist in meat and ready-to-eat meals (charcuterie and gastronomy), I make my skills in the management and review of processes available to customers, I support them in defining company policies and strategies and I guide them in remodulating old and new product lines, encouraging contact with supplier companies.

From an operational perspective, I am active in R&D for the study, testing and industrialization of new products. Furthermore, I deal with the revision and optimization of recipes following the bill of materials system, automation and hygienic design, oriented towards safety, hygiene and food defense. I offer personalized training in HACCP as well.

The in-depth relationship with suppliers of ingredients and semi-finished products, manufacturers of processing machines and lines, certification bodies and analysis laboratories, and participation at exhibitions mainly in Europe complete my know-how.

Over time, I have developed an interest in the recovery of by-products aimed at energy efficiency and the principles of the circular economy, as well as in some innovative technologies in the application of ultrasounds in the olive oil and wine supply chains.

Today, in Alpha Solutions, I make my knowledge, skills, and interests available to companies in the meat products sector to support them in the process of diversification and expansion, following effectively defined projects to achieve the goals of innovation, growth, and development.
